We can know from sources that Bhimanna Vankalapati's son Hanumanna Vankalapati had no child. But he offered his prayers to the almighty. After long time he had a child. He named the boy as Timmappa. Timmappa Vankalapati was very much respected by the people. As charity was part and parcel of this royal family, Timmappa was also very generous in his works. He helped farmers by giving them lands and giving away money.
At his time the family got prominence in parts of Chitradurga. Timmappa died at an early age. The government at the center decided to acquire the land controlled by the family following Land Reforms Act. At this situation the family distributed its 300 acres of land.
Timmappa Vankalapati had six sons. The elder son was named Ramareddy. Followed by Bhimareddy, Hanumantreddy, Krishnareddy, Tippeswamy and Jayaramreddy. Ramareddy was also very generous like his father. But he spent money only on genuine and needy people. He liked to be perfect in every work he did and expected the same from others. He studied Bachelor of Law in Pune. But refused to practice as an advocate following his father's instructions.
Before Independence the family supported Mysore province. As a part of the ruling government the family played a major role in the development of the region of its jurisdiction. After Independence Ramareddy joined Indian National Congress. He decided to compete for MLA election. He was expected to win the election. People had hope in him. But Congress refused ticket to him and gave ticket to his close friend. Ramareddy joined Praja Socialist Party. The party gave him ticket to compete for the election. In spite of competing each other for the same post he continued his friendship. But congress used its brains. The people behind Ramareddy shifted their respect to Congress. Many of his supporters joined congress by night. Ramareddy lost the election by few votes. The people were shocked by the election result. But Ramareddy continued his social service.
Now the members of this family are settled in parts of Karnataka and also in abroad. Still the family is known for faith, goodness and charity. Members of this family are now part of reputed educational institutions and companies.
